Cancellation Policy

All bookings made through this website are accepted on the understanding that the client has read and agreed to the following terms and conditions. VLV Electrical Ltd provides professional, NAPIT-certified electrical services operating within a 20-mile radius of Chepstow. Appointments & Payments All services are fixed-price unless stated otherwise. A Deposit payment is taken securely at the time of booking, Remaining balances will be invoiced upon completion. Your booking is not confirmed until deposit is received and a confirmation email has been issued. Prices include labour, travel within our service area, and VAT where applicable. Access & Site Preparation Clients must ensure clear, safe, and reasonable access to all parts of the electrical installation being inspected or worked on, including consumer units, socket outlets, lighting points, and external supplies. Power must be available unless the appointment relates to a power outage. Please notify us in advance if parking restrictions, key-safe codes, or special access arrangements apply. Cancellations & Rescheduling Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the confirmed appointment time at no additional charge. Cancellations within 24 hours or where access is not possible on arrival (no-access visit) will incur a 25 % charge of the total booking value to cover lost time and travel. Engineer Attendance A qualified engineer or subcontractor operating under VLV Electrical Ltd will attend your appointment. Identification and professional accreditation can be provided upon request. Attendance times are approximate and may vary due to traffic, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be contacted promptly if a delay is expected. Safety & Compliance All work is carried out in accordance with the current edition of BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations, Building Regulations Part P, and VLV Electrical Ltd Health & Safety Policy. Customers must ensure that children, pets, and other occupants remain clear of the work area during testing or installation activities. Certificates & Reports Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and associated documentation are normally issued within 48 hours of completion, subject to full payment and site access. General By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms and to the Master Terms & Conditions. VLV Electrical Ltd reserves the right to amend appointments due to factors beyond control.
